Thanks.

You make good points. I speak with my heart more than my head where Parcells is concerned. He did do the lion's share of the lifting to get this franchise out of the ditch. For that, I thank him. But I do not miss him.

Ok...I get your point, but I am on the other side of the fence when it comes to Bill Parcells. I was heart broken for him after the play-off loss in Seattle. More so today because that game was on last night in NFL Network, as a part of Greatest 4th quarter comebacks.

Overall, except for the blaming Parcells for Carp part, I liked your article.

Go Cowboys!!

But the Genius took a good deal of criticism AT THE TIME from local and national media for passing on Steven Jackson, a back most felt was way ahead of Julius. The Great, Massive, Malignant Tuna (some might say the Football Messiah) - as always - knew so much more than the masses.

Anyway, Parcells, of course,is among the better coaches. I just contend he didn't invent the game or coach it better than anyone ever had. The smug, annoying, condescending turd is gone...and thank God and Greyhound.

I agree Carpenter is a bust (I only see him when he is not tackling or when he is pumping the crowd up at the stadium...lol), but I guess Parcells has earned that one miss.
Julius Jones is a second round pick, and performed to a level one would expect from a second round pick.

Actually, I didn't forget any of that. I just didn't mention it. Hardly supported my thesis, now did it? A big miss is a big miss. And Carpenter was a BIG miss. Julius Jones wasn't a stroke of genius, either, come to think of it.

You are fogetting that the same New Jersey Football Genius drafted us a DeMarcus Ware, a Jason Witten, not to mention his role in us securing Tony Romo and Miles Austin.
